The Design and Minting Process
With a deep understanding of the White House Historical Association’s mission to enhance the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the White House, and building on years of close partnership, our in-house designers began their work. Starting from the client’s commission and initial concepts and leveraging past designs from our firm, we tailored the artwork for production, incorporating design details through a series of complimentary revisions.
Once final designs were approved, our trusted minting partner meticulously crafted each medallion in the USA, adhering to time-tested materials and hands-on production practices. A die-striking press was utilized to achieve stellar relief and intricate details in all pieces, which were further enhanced by baked enamels and antiquing techniques. The polished, gift-ready presentation was completed with custom-printed packaging. This process underscores our expertise in creating collectibles that adhere to the exacting standards of prestigious institutions.

60th Inaugural Coin: Commemorating the 60th Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2025, this antique brass coin displays the ceremonial grounds on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol Building on the obverse and the White House on the reverse. Each coin is housed in a protective case and surrounded by a descriptive card detailing the shift to January 20 inaugurations since 1937.
