What do George Washington, Mt. Vernon and George Washington University all have in common? All were a part of Making History – the theme of a capital fundraising campaign sponsored by GWU. For an event held on the grounds of Mt. Vernon, assistance in the design of a unique donor gift was taken on by our company’s Creative Director. Researching the vast number of items archived at the estate’s Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center resulted in a custom coin inspired by a medal in the museum’s collection. The goal was to connect the history of our nation’s first president, his estate, and the university bearing his name into a unique memento of this special occasion.
