Position: Online Customer Service Rep + Sales Assistant

Summary: C. Forbes, Inc. is a Richmond based, specialty products firm that owns and manages fulfillment for several growing online retail programs.  We are looking for an Online Customer Service Representative who will become the voice and an advocate for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate that they are self-motivated, punctual and detail oriented, and become the next addition to our small etail team, which consists of fulfillment, web design, and marketing team members.
Role: We are looking for a customer service representative who has impressive customer service skills and can answer questions and can become the customer’s advocate in resolving support issues and help with the overall smooth running of the business. This role reports directly to the company owner and collaborates with and a small team of etail professionals. 
Job Duties:
  • All customer-facing service related communications
  • Monitor and resolve incoming customer inquiries from all etail channels (live chat, email, phone, social, Etsy)
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding any fulfillment follow ups or delays
  • Collaborate with etail team to stay updated on new products, features, and policies
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Proactively offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
  • Constantly assessing processes and systems for efficiency and best practices and proposing improvements
  • Other duties as requested
Additional Duties May Vary On Occasion and Include:
  • Taking phone orders
  • Pulling and packing orders
  • Tracking inventory
  • Processing returns / refunds
  • New product development
  • Small batch assembly
  • Product personalization
  • Product packaging
Required Skills:
  • Being able to learn and use provided technology (computers, apps, websites) proficiently
  • Internet savvy with email (outlook/g suite)
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve common browser and website user error issues
  • Detail oriented, organized, using systems to remind and followup on required tasks
  • Exceptional business phone etiquette with affluent customers

We currently have a full time position available. Customer Service, retail, etail, or sales experience is a plus! Adequate company orientation and training will be provided. Our environment is business casual, moderately paced, and fun!  We are looking to hire immediately.
